Touring historic Princeton is a truly unique experience. This tour takes you on foot around the beautiful Princeton Campus to explore the rich history and take you to all the must-see attractions. You will learn the chronological history of the prestigious Princeton University; from its humble beginnings to how it became the wealthiest student body in the history of American education as well as one of the most diverse Ivy League Schools. You will see sites such as Nassau Hall, Princeton Chapel, Prospect Garden, Blair Hall and Rockefeller College. After the campus walk the journey expands into the neighborhoods of Albert Einstein, F Scott Fitzgerald, TS Eliot, Robert Wood Johnson, William Bristol, two United States Presidents, four Secretary of States, three Secretaries of Defense, one vice President as well as the homes of JP Morgan, Rockefeller and Andrew Carnegie.
From here you will head to Princeton Battlefield for a self-guided visit. The Battle of Princeton took place in January of 1777. It is remembered as a short but fierce battle resulting in a win for General Washington and his men boosting American morale during this critical war time. The Battlefield is today a preserved site spanning over 681 acres with walking trails, monuments and the Clark House Museum.
